Question
How does pollution affect leaf stomata on Honey Locust and Sugar Maple trees?
Project Summary
What this project is about is finding stomata on honey locust and sugar maple trees and measuring particulate matter. I was trying to figure out how particulate matter can affect the amount of stomata on these two type of trees. Figuring out if it affects different types of trees differently. Ways to contribute to this project is to do the project yourself or just see how pollution can affect different types of things and how you ca protect yourself from it too.
Location
Locations that I took data were in very green spaces and in areas where there is heavy traffic.
The locations we have been going often is near North Pond, North Lawn, Diversey harbor, and trees near the street around the Nature museum.
